European Soaps Policies
Opening Orders- Please note that opening orders are shipped COD. Orders may be prepaid by sending a check for the value of the merchandise plus 10% for estimated freight. We will refund any overpayment or bill you for any balance due. If you prefer Net 30 terms, please submit your credit reference or complete our Application Form. VISA®, MasterCard®, Discover®, and American Express® are also accepted upon receipt of the completed Credit Card Authorization Form. A completed Retail Certificate must be submitted prior to any shipment for New York and Washington customers to avoid sales tax being paid.
Minimum Orders Per Location- New account minimum is $250. Re-order minimum is $100.
Testers- Full size testers are available to purchase only if purchasing full price product.
Terms-Net 30 for approved accounts, otherwise COD or Pre-Paid. Invoices unpaid after 30 days are subject to late charges of 1.5% per month. A $20 service charge applies to all NSF checks.
Damages in Transit- Damage should be reported to us as soon as possible so that we may remedy the situation and work with the carrier on a possible claim. During periods of extreme temperature we may be unable to ship certain items, e.g. shea butter and linen water
Returns- Returns will not be accepted without prior approval and must be requested within 90 days. All returned merchandise must be in saleable condition and may be subject to a 20% re-stocking fee.
Shipping- Shipping times will vary by season. Unless instructed otherwise, shipments go by either FedEx Ground or Multi-Weight Service. All Shipments are FOB Seattle. Click here to to view a map of FedEx Transit Times
Prices- Prices are subject to change without notice and will be those in effect at the time of shipping.
Volume Discount- A 5% discount is available on invoices exceeding $1200 in merchandise. Payment must be received within 30 days of the invoice date for the discount to be earned.
Exclusivity- European Soaps, LLC does not offer territorial or product exclusivity.
Privacy policy- European Soaps respects your privacy and strives to attain your trust and confidence on the Internet. We feel it is necessary to inform you how information this Web site collects is used.
European Soaps currently collects personal information from customers for sales purposes. This information is used for billing goods and the shipment of merchandise. In the event this information is incomplete or insufficient, we will attempt to contact the customer with the information provided.
Your personal information will not be made available to any business, person or organization other than European Soaps. We do not participate in 'spam' e-mail, or e-mail that is considered unsolicited. Your information is not for sale. We do however reserve the right to send our customers product and service updates through e-mail or the United States Postal Service.
Credit card information is transferred via a secure server using the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol. All information is encrypted during transfer and accessed by our accounting department through a secure connection. Your information will be in a secure format at all times.
We adhere to legal policies and respond to subpoenas, warrants or other court orders regarding customers or visitors. We cooperate with law enforcement agencies regarding illegal activities and reserve the right to notify legal authorities of any illegal activity associated with our Web site.
